The Mission

SAVE will offer workshops in both audio and visual literacy as well as open studio time. Membership is covered by either a suggested donation or time/artwork volunteer basis. This will enabling all income level youth and community members a chance to learn and grow. SAVE operates on a cooperative model, all members contribute to its success with their own contributions.

At the heart of our mission is SAVE PRINTS, a fully operational printing shop, specializing in eco friendly printing processes* SAVE PRINTS teaches students and members commercial printing techniques in the production of client work and our tee-shirt of the month subscription with features the artwork of one student or community member.

The Space: SAVE will be a technologically forward, small eco footprint audio and visual labs in Kingston NY, a growing NY state artist community on the Hudson River, 90 miles north of NYC.

• Fully operational silkscreen studio (including small darkroom)
• MAC lab: 8 iMacs (4 graphic stations, 4 audio stations)
• Classroom with smartboard, projector, etc.
• One Open Studio for members to work, photograph, etc.
